Her multi\u00adlay\u00adered work comprises perfor\u00admances,\u00a0sculp\u00adtures, paint\u00adings on car parts and scrap metal, draw\u00adings, and video.<br><br>At the SCHIRN, the artist presents prints, small sculp\u00adtural works made from precious metals, and two perfor\u00admances that pick up on central themes of her oeuvre, as well as two newly created works. The instal\u00adla\u00adtion \u201cFlowers of Life\u201d (2024), made from multi\u00adpronged grabs, gestures to her family\u2019s liveli\u00adhood, which involves collecting and reselling scrap metal. The film \u201cCrossing the Blue Bridge\u201d (2024) is based on her mother\u2019s memo\u00adries of expe\u00adri\u00adences in her home\u00adtown of Biha\u0107 during the Bosnian War (1992\u20131995).<br><br>Selman takes these family expe\u00adri\u00adences as a point of depar\u00adture to situate herself as a femi\u00adnist and activist artist who now campaigns
